My Weekend

Jimmy and I had a good weekend. On Sat we went over and did a little work on the new "condo" and Mom fixed lunch. Had ham, baked potato and cream corn. Was very good. Enjoyed eating at home again!! On Sunday there was a yard sale up the road from us and she had a sewing place and had a huge amount of fabric.So I got some to make Mom new curtains, material was $1.00 a yard for 60" wide and I got 13 yards of curtain material for me for $10, 60" wide. Well. I got mine made today and got them hung. Here is a couple of pictures. We also got some fake fur like material to make cushion covers for the "condo". She let us have the whole bolt about 6 yards for $5. Can't beat that anywhere.So now I have a lot of sewing to do. Maybe someday I will get it all done. We also were trying to decide what to do about the holes that we had in the canvas on the camper and we tried a lot of different things to clean the mildew,so today we finally made the decision to get all new canvas so we took the old one off so now we have to get new with the "free government money"!! Had a surprise visitor sat night. Chucky and Dorothy stopped by on their way home from Walton. Was surprised to see them. They were here about 3 hours. Was after 10 when they left. I got Chucky set up to blog!
Also the family reunion will be July 12th at Williams.So reserve that day!
