Spaghetti Dinner

Well, We had our Spaghetti Dinner today with Brian and his family. It was a huge success. There were 58 in attendance. I'm sorry ,but I did not take any pictures but there will be plenty on the different blogs because there were many, many cameras going off!! It was very nice visiting with Brian and Kim. Lets keep them in our prayers as they travel back to Washington next week.And to just let you all know, Kim checks the blogs everyday and she said "I get pissed when it goes for weeks and nobody updates!!!!!!!". So,just for Kim,lets try to update more often. She said that is a good way for her to keep up with the family!! Gotta love her!." I also want to thank everyone for coming and all that helped make the dinner the success that it was. And a big thank you to Norine for all the time and effort she put in to making the beautiful invitations. Here is a picture of the invitations she made by hand for the ones who didn't get one. Good job, Norine. Frank did a good job on the spaghetti sauce, was delicious, and also a special thanks to Jimmy for doing all the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen! Was good getting together again and seeing my family. Am tired now and going to bed. Had a long day!!
Love to you all.

My dear friends and family,

Somewhat embarrassing to admit but Christmas will be tight this year. I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts. Please let me know your sizes. You'll most likely agree that it's a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I've included the instructions below. How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads: You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.

Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most aesthetically appealing), etc.

These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.

I've attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the nifty slippers for yourself....

Awaiting your response. It's crucial that I get the right size for each one of you.

Wedding Night!!

THE WEDDING NIGHT

Fred and Mary get married but couldn't afford a honeymoon, so they go back to Fred's Mom and Dad's house for their first night together. In the morning, Johnny, Fred's little brother,
gets up and has his breakfast.

As he is going out of the door to go to school, he asks his mom if Fred and Mary are up yet.
She replies, 'No'.

Johnny asks, 'Do you know what I think?'

His mom replies, 'I don't want to hear what you think!
Just go to school.'
Johnny comes home for lunch and asks his mom,
'Are Fred and Mary up yet?'

She replies, 'No.'
Johnny says, 'Do you know what I think?'

His mom replies, 'Never mind what you think! Eat your lunch and go back to school '

After school, Johnny comes home and asks again,
'Are Fred and Mary up yet?' His mom says, 'No.'

He asks, 'Do you know what I think?'

His mom replies, 'OK, now tell me what you think?'

He says: 'Last night Fred came to my room for the Vaseline and I think...

I gave him my airplane glue.
