I talked to William this morning and he went to Syracuse on Tue for surgery on his hand but they were not able to do it. They were going to take the tendons from the top of his foot to place in his fingers but when they opened the hand they found that the tendons that were put in before were shredded and there was a lot of scar tissue there so the Dr cleaned it up and put in longer rods and told him to continue therapy and they will do surgery in 3 months. So basically he is back to where he started. So as of now that will be another 3 months and at least another 6 weeks after the surgery before he can even think about returning to work and that worries him. He does use the hand as much as he can,which isn't much and if you know William, he will push it to the limit. Also this cold weather doesn't help at all. We really need to keep him and his family in our prayers during this difficult time. I know it is very hard on him both physically and mentally. And lets not forget Barb and all the support she has given him and all the extra things she does to help when and where she can. And also all the good care she gives him! Love you both.
Since Linda told me that Halloween is over and I need to update my blog, I guess I had better do it. Jimmy's daughter Jammie had a baby boy Friday the 9 of Nov. Named it Daniel James. Weighted 7 lb 15 oz and 21" long. Both are doing just fine. She came home from hospital on Sunday afternoon. Here are a couple of pictures I took. Will get more later. He is 2 days old here in these pictures.
Also I got a promotion at work. A lot easier job and more pay. I have been working day shift since last Wed because I am in training (yes, they can train me!) I have been working 6:30 til 3 and it has me all confused. Will be going back on evenings Monday. It is nice being home evenings but I live second shift better!I'm ready to go to bed at 7pm.
We had a nice surprise Sunday evening. Al and Melinda stopped by for a while. Its always a pleasure to visit with the both of them. Guess that is all for now. Keep checking back because you never kn ow what I will be posting next!!
