Jimmy and I had a nice Christmas. We went over to Graydon and Nancy's for dinner. We had a all in one dish (broiled dinner of ham, potatoes,cabbage, and carrots). Was delicious. Also had rice crispy treats with chocolate moose that Rachel made and pumpkin roll and vanilla wafer pudding that I made. Bonnie ,Brian and Brian J was there ,and also Al and Rachel and Mom. Al and Rachel got me a Joy of Cooking 75 year anniversary edition. I will really enjoy it. Mom crocheted us some doilies for the home and Norine crocheted me a nice warm scarf. I took some photos but am having a problem putting them on my blog so am going up to Al's Thursday and he is going to help me figure it out. So check back at end of week.

Well I guess its time for an update. Mom and I went shopping last Wed. Had a nice time. Stores were too busy but then again it was 9 in the morning!. Jimmy and I decided not to put up a tree this year as we lost most of our decorations in the flood and just not in the mood to do it this year. I couldn't do a Christmas party this year as we don't have much parking space here. Jimmy and I went shopping Sunday. I got a corner computer table from Big Lots and I also bought me a sewing machine!!! So if anyone needs any sewing done, I'm ready. Jimmy went to Hershey last Thursday and Fri on a pack job for his work and while he was there he went to K Mart and got my Christmas present and of course he couldn't wait til Christmas so he gave it to me Sat morning. They were diamond earrings and also a set of opal earrings and matching necklace. He's got me all decked out and no place to go!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to Graydon and Nancy's for Christmas dinner. First time in years that I haven't fixed Christmas dinner, but I know I will enjoy it. Am still going to be doing some baking for the Holidays. Am making my peanut butter fudge for Jimmy and for party at work and am doing a few pumpkin rolls. My last day of work is Thursday Dec 21 and am off til the 2nd of Jan.

Jimmy and I took a side trip from Indiana down to Linda's on our way home. We arrived there about 7 pm Thursday and visited for a while then Frank wanted to go to Wal Mart to be there @ midnight because there was something he wanted that was going on sale at midnight and they only had 6 of them, so we took off and went shopping!! Had a good nights rest then went back out shopping again. Went looking at new houses in her development (thought she was going to get us to buy one!) Went to supper at Chinese Restaurant.She has a beautiful home and it is very comfortable. Nice seeing you again Linda and Frank.

Change in plans. Jimmy and I are leaving Sat to go to Indiana because his brother Bobby passed away Wed morning. Funeral is Tue. We will be there for Thanksgiving then head home on Sat. We want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday to Cindy.

Had a nice weekend. Didn't have to work over time. Had Mom, Graydon and Nancy over for dinner Sunday. We had stuffed pork chops,mashed potatoes with pork chop gravy and corn. Had banana coconut cream pie for desert.
Jimmy and I are planning on going to Indiana to his parents for Thanksgiving. Will be leaving next Wed night after work or early Thursday morning.

Got my new glasses today !! Just don't look at my hair .Jimmy didn't give me time to comb it. Ha Ha

Ok. thanks to Al, I have this figured out somewhat. Here are a few pics of our place. Since these were taken we now have coffee table and end tables in the living room and a different dinning room set and a different car in the drive way. Will take pics of that later.

I decided it was time I got my own blog . I have no idea what I am doing so please bear with me til I get it figured out.
